Gaming P.C full build. Advice needed

I really want to get this ordered so I have it by next week but now people are saying that the GTX 670 could be released/unveiled on May 10th forcing price changes elsewhere.

Not sure what to do.

Well this is the trouble, there's always something new round the corner... You've got to decide really. At some point you've just got to buy what you can at the time :)

@Beejj, Yeah sorry that was actually the motherboard I meant to link :)

@cinderz - in regards to the overclock card, it's a bit more money and I've already gone from a 560Ti to a 680 so the less I need to spend now the better. And also doesn't the GTX 680 technology auto boost the clock speed anyway?

indeed it has some sort of turbo boost on it, but the 680 has loads of overclocking headroom in it and having a version with dual fans means better overclocking as it has better cooling

And one last thing

a 650W modular OCZ PSU will be fine for one card?

I won't need any extra cooling for the GTX 680?

It will all fit in a Cooler master HAF 932? :)

650 is fine for one card rule of thunb I stick to when deciding a psu 550-650 for single gpu.

850+ for 2 or more gpu.

unless you are overclocking the card cooling should be fine

Cant comment on the case as I never seen one

And having an i5 2500k and not an i7 with 8GB RAM windows 7 home premium isn't going to affect the performance of the GTX 680 right?

Sorry for all the questions....wish I knew more

it shouldn't do, but if you are buying the K version and you don't overclock it, their is something seriously wrong with you!

the K version has an unlocked multiplier which means it was made to be overclocked, I have never met or heard of anyone buying the i5-2500k and not overclocking to at least 4.3ghz which is fairly childs play these days.

If you do not want to overclock, buy the standard i5-2500 and not the i5-2500K

I may overclock at some point but before I get into that I just want to get everything running and give it a whirl.

So if the i5 2500 and GTX 680 won't bottleneck as stock then I'm good to order
