if you build yourself you save lots of money :). It's as easy as joining lego. Many youtube videos on it. I would go for a 5820K build with a 980ti lower price better performance in long term/

cheers all but building it myself is out of the question at the moment so it will have to be one of the above I have posted, but I'm still not sure which one to go for ?

having a look on this forum the 2nd option seems like the one for me I think as it has the GTX 980Ti 6G GDDR5 ?

This always confuses me while I’d love to have the confidence to build a PC when I individually price a system parts it usually is not far off what OC charge for the same or near enough same unit. I’m sure the last system I played around with getting a spec up and price it was £80 more letting OC build it.

Overclockers can build you a pc to your own spec. That 2nd build you listed only has a 350W Bronze psu. It sounds a bit sketchy.

For £1600 you can get something a lot better. Also the Skylake i7 is a bit overpriced at the moment. With your budget you could afford an X99 i7 5820K system.

I can list you a couple of builds if you want, and then you can ask ocuk to build one for you.

Do you plan on doing anything else apart from gaming such as Video Editing/Rendering or live streaming ? If not then you could drop down to an i5 build.

Also what resolution is your TV ? As a 980 ti is ideally suited to 1440p/4K. If it is 1080p 60Hz then a GTX 970 or R9 390 would be a better choice.

I would prefer a tower and future proof to as this will be only for gaming by budget is £1600 but if it can be done cheaper that's a bonus would also need a keyboard and mouse

I would prefer ... future proof

Don't bother. While CPU technology has stagnated - the i5-2xxx CPUs are still competitive - GPUs are accelerating at a considerable rate of knots.

If you're only ever going to use a single GPU, you might as well go ITX. Only if you're going to use multiple GPUs or fancy cooling should a tower system be on the cards.

For a keyboard and mouse, you'll want a wireless set like the Logitech MK270 - £21.95.

Here's the above system tweaked for Skylake:

I'm liking the skylake one at £1,491.96

thanks everyone for taking your time to help me out cheers

The easiest way to get a quote is to start a new thread in the pre-sales section

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=117

Add all the items from the spec into your basket. Then click the 'BBCode' which is located under the delivery options. You can then copy/paste the BBCode text into your thread.

I would check also that everything is in stock before you order as you don't want one item holding up the build.

You should have a nice system there :)
