Gauntlet 2009 Joiners Thread!

just looking at the stats, and not sure if we can try and catch [TA]TAS or not- our RAC seems higher, but SNL RAC lower. with a 151k lead, probably not, but who knows?
I just checked out their Gauntlet thread, looks like they are trying to up production to keep us at bay, it's going to be close

Sheesh took you long enough
Well, it was easy enough to OC my rigs to where I had them before (4050,3200), but getting more out of them is tricky.
Need lots of extra volts 
, and endless fiddling!Hopefully they'll hold up long enough and stable enough to make it to the end of the Gauntlet, them I can fiddle with them properly.
mItx or mAtx?
mAtx you can get two GTX295's (bit toasty tho)
1x mITX, 2X mATX- one ATX case can't take the new gen cards without some bodging. the other has a 260 sitting in there, and actually, I can't find any S775 mATX cards with SLI.

Finaly got my wifi dongle so i can finish my i7 off start to build it later when i wake up and hopefully have a final push for the finish

Well, looks like we narrowed from 151k to about 136k...
15k per day narrowing, 3 days is only 45k?
Yeah at this rate we won't do it

Looks like Shadowscotland rolled over and TheTross is nowhere to be seen, so the question is, can I make it to #10 in the team? Looking doubtful, but I'll give it a shot.
Cheaky - 10k is the best I can do - and that will drop a bit now the quad isn't on 24/7 (had to give it back)

Looks like my main rig is doing me proud......currently ranked 3rd in Team OcUK (and the UK) for a single rig cruncher.

Been catching up on a few things so needed rig to do others things apart from SETI tonight.
No just as I was about to post there was some wierd ad on tv about carnivore hippos and it seemed apropos
Sauce would be a good idea, been working up till now and debating whether to stay up for another couple of hours trying to get el monstro running with the new GTX260
And boy was it hard finding a reference model card that fits the EK block I have.
