Well then, what a great time to launch the channel, a mere 3 years before the next General Election

And speaking of living rent free in somebody's head...

Hence I said 'such as' giving one example. There will still be opposing Brexit views for them to challenge as I'm sure remoaners won't let that lie.

The difference is it wouldn't have stopped there with Labour as a lack of grasp on finances could lead anywhere.

Still doesn't excuse the rank hypocrisy by people calling out Labour's unrealistic spending plans and then cheering the Conservatives actual bigger spending.

Brexit will be the "gift" that keeps on giving for years if not decades to come as more and more of "project fear" turns out to be reality.

"GB News: Council demands Union flag buting is removed" has just popped up on my Youtube. The usual Dail Fail Gammon Bait then. I'll pass thanks.

Oh, and Farage has turned up on it. Well, there's a surprise.

Surely the advertisers knew what kind of a news show GBNews was going to be before they decided to advertise with them? It's pretty amusing how quickly they folded to opposition really.

It wouldn't matter to them if not for the culture of censorship (cancel culture) on the left, all that should matter to a business is how many viewers will be watching and whether it will be good value for money.

Most of these companies probably exploit slave labour in poorer countries so they're hardly doing it on grounds of their conscience, they're pulling advertising because they're scared of the increasingly totalitarian left who want to control all of the information people are exposed to.

Wokey: "Don't like our censorship? create your own platform!"

<enter GBNews>

Wokey: "OMG SHUT IT DOWN THEY'RE NOT TOLERANT LIKE WE ARE!"

How you are perceived is massively important and as I have already said, they wont manage their own marketing when it comes to this kind of thing.

why is it wrong that people criticize organizations? Is it wrong thst we hsve a thread ln ocul complaining at the TV license fee and want the the licende fee dropped? Is it wrong that people criticize companies that use child labour, or poléute the environment?

No one is forcing companied to drol advertising. The companies do whatever is best for their revenue.

I suspect they don't wsnt to be associated with a so called news agency that is already spread covid conspiracy theories

Comparing people objecting to being forced to pay for the BBC, whether they wish to watch it or not, when they want to watch any live TV vs people seeking to defund a news channel via potential advertisers is just the sort of gaslighting nonsense I would expect from you.

And we have had plenty of fake news stories and conspiracy theories from the rest of the legacy media in recent years to render the last objection totally risible.

If GB News is popular it should find no problem getting advertisers from companies with customers that align with their views.

I suspect you know that this is clear nonsence as do I

There are plenty of different options currently available for advertisers and in a post pandemic recovery world there will be plenty of competition for their business.

GB News could both be relatively sucessful as a UK based news channel, based on viewership figures but yet struggle of they cannot generate sufficient advertising revenue to pay for the platform.

And why wouldn't they be able to generate sufficient advertising revenue.....

(Looks like we will have to take this one logical step at a time)

No simple business economics. if its hurting or looking like hurting their shareholders profits they will drop them. Which sane company wouldn't?

Hmm Labour gave us the 2008 recession. They were not without blame for the UK banks being so exposed through lack of regulation.

Tories gave us recessions in 1980 with interest rates at 17% when huge numbers could no longer afford their mortgage and their house was worth a fraction of their debt, they lost everything. Then again in 1990 when the Tories completely lost control of inflation again which was at 9.5% and again interest rates went through the roof at a ridiculous 14.8% and 10s of thousands lost their homes and all their savings.

So don't give us this Labour don't know what they are doing with finances. In 2010 the Tories promised to pay off the national debt by 2015 with austerity. Instead they gutted public finances including police numbers and raised the national debt. The fact you think they are more trustworthy is laughable.

Precisely, advertisers care about what their ad money is paying for. If it's paying for stuff that doesn't fit with their company image, they'll go elsewhere. Market forces at work.

Of course the tough guys will be crying as usual and claiming they are the victim of censorship or some other drivel....while peeing their pants having nightmares about 'wokeys'....deary me. What it must be like to live life so afraid.....

Not even you can possibly think any of that is true

I am at the point where I believe mmh_uk must be a troll.

Some people are just a bit salty that no one will vote for their preferred party in Parliament.
