GD may close for a while

I've only just come back to this thread. So GD was actually closed for a while? :confused:

When did this happen?

Yeah it was, if you read the thread through it tells you. It closed for 2 hours. Some maintenance (ie, deleting crap) was done I believe.

Can't say i missed it. I must have been doing something worthwhile at the time (rare for me).

I don't know why there's such a sudden outcry over the quality of GD. It's always been a mix of interesting stuff and spam. Maybe there's just more posters than before therefore increasing the amount of spam. :confused:

According to Yewen the maintenence was just coincidental, and not the reason for GD closing.

Thats why I didn't say GD closed for the maintenance. I said it closed and some maintenance was done.

I think I'd like it if GD was closed for a bit, every time I come in, almost all the topics end up completely off topic, or just talking rubbish.

Get it closed for a bit, and if members decide to post everything elsewhere then ban them. Good yeah?
