My new amp, the Fender Vibro Champ XD:

Think Hendrix and SRV all packed into a nice little practice amp although it can actually make a rather loud noise when turned up, absolutely fantastic sounding reverbs on it.

Just bagged me a bargain, I've always want a Gibson Les Paul but never been able to justify £1000+ on one, then in the guitar shop this morning this caught my eye, it's second hand but absolutely immaculate and was £299, I gave it a quick play and to me it sounds as good if not better than most of the Gibsons that they had in there, I'm sure there are better Gibsons out there but this thing is incredible and feels much nicer to play.

Strat > * so well done there.

As for the LTD Les Paul, ESP > Gibson in my opinion. So you've definitely got a bargain there. My friend has a similar one and he paid over double for his (I think) and it's a beautiful instrument.

Tannoy? :|

Tannoy Reveal are incredible monitors IMO, I have an old pair of...erm, god knows what, they're red :) I find it best to record and mixdown on headphones anyway then playback on speakers, in a bedroom setup it's a bit daft to spend stupid money on monitor speakers. Unless you have a soundproof booth you don't record whilst the speakers are playing.

Each to their own but I love mine.

Nice amps btw Ozzie :) You must either live in a detatched house or hate your neighbours.
