What did you sell in the end?

Now to get your hands on a proper 70's Yamaha SG2000 - yum yum

Hah, yeah the SG1500 has been on my wishlist a long time. It'd most certainly compliment the Ibby 2619 and Fender Flame VERY well. A trio of top-notch MIJ Les Paul Killers.

I managed to sell my fretless bass to pay for the Flame.

Lovely Flame Natima. Never seen one before, didn't even know Fender ventured into that kind of design.

Yeah it's a great guitar! Made by fujigen in Japan, the factory that produced all Ibanez's MIJ guitars, the absurdly good (almost better than Pre-CBS) Fender JV guitars, numerous brands of Gibson replicas including Gibsons own Orville line, and a whole bunch of really interesting new designs back in the 70's. They even made a through-neck semi-hollow for Ibanez.

Anway, This shall be mine soon! Extremely rare 1983 MIJ Ibanez Roadstar RS1400. Through-neck construction, coil taps on each Super 58 humbucker. Less than a few hundred ever made. [EDIT] Only 167 ever made!!!

Will take some better photos when i get chance :)

I'm really liking the EB MM Axis since seeing Bowling for Soup live, but i can't really afford it.

I have read that the OLP MM1 is very good value for money, and changing the pick-ups can make it even better value for money. (I know that it isn't a touch on the Axis, but i am only really an average guitarist so the guitar would be wasted on me anyway.)

Does anyone have one? And does anyone know anywhere that sells them as OLP have gone out of business so they seem very hard to come by?

Thanks.

This beauty came in the post today :)

Awesome mate, I've got an APX 700 in Cobalt Aqua and it's a stunner of a guitar, beautiful to look at, beautiful to play and most importantly; sounds beautiful too! Does the 500 have the lovely dark navy dyed woodgrain at the back/sides too? Whenever my guitar catches the sunlight I marvel at how beautiful the grain looks! Anyway, enjoy mate, she'll serve you well :)

1962 kay acoustic thats somehow stood the test of time. and fishman pickup that i've put in. shipped it from america, and it took me 6 months to get my arse in to gear and fix it up, worth the wait :D

Really want the Fender Stratocaster American Standard HSS in Sienna Sunburst with maple neck, I've had a few beers and I've just been paid.....anything could happen....

Can I really afford the 900 quid though!! :) I don't think so.

You'll have to get one of those pedals that emulates a Leslie.
Our recent keyboard player who left used to do a stunning Jon Lord soundalike (Deep Purple).

The XK3c's got a pretty darn good internal Leslie simulator - it makes me look twice when I'm blasting out of the PA speaker I use for an amp (even in mono).

The pedal everybody's raving about is the Ventilator, which does sound slightly better, but not £500 better!

On the other hand, I can turn the internal Leslie off and do a Brian Auger, which is no bad thing... (Obviously, minus his keyboard skills!)

Time to post pics of my Stuff, not as cool as most on here but I guess we all have to start some where :)

Orange Crush Pix 20w ldx which im actually quite pleased with but damn you have to turn it up loud to get it sounding good, im very very close to ordering a Vox vt40+ but cant find anywhere that has them in stock yet so have a play around with.

The humble guitars are L to R Yamaha F310 which i bought a while a go to learn to play but didn't really get going with is, the next is a Squire MC-1 3/4 which I bought for my 7 year old son to start to learn on but he has shown little interest and I use it quite a bit to practice on while sitting at my computer.
Last one is the venerable Yamaha Pacifica 112v which has really got me in to learning to play, absolutely love this thing :)
Im sure in years to come when I have and American custom Strat it will sit gathering dust but for now its great.
