Anyone tried this on tropico4? Reason I ask, when I downscale 4k on my game, I can't click any of the screen buttons, it seems the position of the click and icons doesn't match in the menu.

Fifa 14 is about 90% working, cut scenes/replays don't show but actual game play is flawless.

Much better then Nvidias native downsampling which craps out for me somewhere just above 1600p, this is allowing the full fat 4K and more.

Edit: 8k down sample working OK too

I'll grab a screeny just shortly, Fifa can be pretty buggy using this method of downsample but it sure is pretty

For 8K it appears to use 2 stage downsampling, 8K down to 4K then 4K down to 1080.

Fortunately fraps takes the screeny at 1080 (other things may use the rendering resolution not the display resolution)

Needs work though, borderlands 2 you can't control the menu with a mouse (offset) you have to use a keyboard or controller.

Just tested tony hawks HD as its as cheap and raw as console ports get (no graphical options besides resolution). Fly's through in 4k, not sure 8k is worth any potential perf hits atm due to 2 pass down sampling.

BL 2 holds a steady 55-60fps at 4k and bails out at around 30fps at 8k!

Will be testing all the poor looking ports I have tonight

I'm done with this for now, it has potential but next to nothing works with it

Amazing Spider man - crash on launch
Borderlands 2 - works though mouse is offset in menus
Bulletstorm - can't access game due to GFWL
GTAIV - Can't access game due to GFWL
UT99 - no res option above 1680x1050
NHL09 - no res option above 1286x1024
No DX10/11 support as of yet
Fifa 14 - works in game, no cut scene support, some random flickering
THPSHD - works flawlessly.

So for now have some THPSHD 4k upscale

You can just edit the ini file to have it run at 1920x1080 (or higher) if memory serves. No idea where that leaves downsampling, but hey

so for Arma 3 just put Arma 3? Also some games are not working on steam like Arma etc not sure what to do.

Try disable steam overlay for the game right click game>properties>disable steam overlay.

I've had it working in maybe 2-3 games, not a sniff from the other 15 or so I've tried!

The whitelist entry HAS to be the exe that steam launches, so to add skyrim you'd add TESV to the whitelist as steam executes TESV.exe

Mirrors edge works pretty well at 4K, unfortunately it doesn't like 8K

Doesn't look bad for a 5 year old game!!

Any idea when i tried to use this for fifa 14 my afterburner limiter doesnt work anymore?

I run fifa with no limit on fps in the menu and cap the fps at 120 in afterburner for smoothest gameplay.

When i load up fifa without the limiter my computer restart due to fifa ramping up an insane amount of fps at the menu and the card ***** itself.

Anyway to get them to work together?

Fairly sure I have FIFA settings to no frame limit vsync enabled.

yeh but i find that vsync gives choppy gameplay and input lag. thats why u have it off and limit fps at 120 (my refresh rate on Benq, but also did this when i had 60hz mon)
