so i was just playing around with downsampling on borderlands 2, through the nvidia control panel and not GeDoSaTo. i have 1 gtx770 2gb and a gtx650 as a physx card, and the asus mx299q 2560x1080 monitor. borderlands 2 seems to be very friendly with regards to allowing a lot of resolutions to work properly.
So I managed to hit 3200x1350 @59hz, which i thought would be very taxing on a single 2gb 770. imagine my amazement when i played through the bloodshot stronghold top of the dam section, everything maxed except no fxaa and high view distance, and vsync stayed on above 59fps the whole time! played really smooth, smoother than at 2560x1080 somehow. screenshots:
Would GeDoSaTo give me a better chance of running at 3440x1440 instead? that seems like a res that more games would support
