GeForce RTX 3080 12GB cards already on sale in Germany at 1699 EUR

GPU's can almost literally print money right now. This ability creates a demand that is virtually unlimited. (At some point the electrical system in a single house can't support any more graphics cards.)

It seems gamers think demand from miners is like demand from other gamers. "Miners want graphics cards? So what? I want graphics cards too. Big deal."

I don't think any gamer wants *all the graphics cards* their home can power the same way a miner does.

Adding miners to the demand is not like adding more gamers...its comparatively exponential.

The funny thing is this card is using MSI's top of the line air cooling design and the card is about 80c with just 380w and the coming 3090ti will go up to 500w. I can't wait to see all the 90c+ RTX3090ti cards, truely we have returned to the days of Fermi!

You mean 3090Ti not 4090Ti.. I don't think we will see a 4090 class card next time, they will be back to Titan models.
 
PC Hardware in general and not just graphics cards have always been much more expensive than other countries.
