I actually think Clegg would be a better PM than any of them, he's actually likeable which is very rare in politics, just a shame he never will be.

So that means the Lib Dems will try form a government with the Conservatives. It's almost guaranteed the Conservatives will have the most seats.

I think Clegg is doing an outstanding job. I was expecting him to get utterly destroyed but he's really holding it together and sounding very reasonable.

Only if the polls are correct, I don't believe they will be.

I expect Conservatives will get a few more than current polls/at the top end of them, ~290 range. Farage's seat for example.

Clegg does stand out. It would be good to have him and Cameron back.

Why can't we ever have a likeable and commanding PM? The last one who was truly commanding was probably Maggie Thatcher. Other countries have cool leaders, Obama, Putin, Abbott, Mugabe.

He's excellent. Hopefully people haven't turned off given an hour and a half is quite a lot for the average Joe to sit through.

That's always been clear. But if they can't form a functioning government, they'll then also talk to Labour/form a government with them as long as they can reach an agreement.

An argument could be made that most people had voted against the current government and so you try form a government with the opposition first.

That was the exact argument made 5 years ago.

They will have sometime to get a functioning government. It won't be like Brown where everything was done in hours. There is always a tendency to follow the largest party and particularly with 280+ conservatives that is approximately the threshold for stability.
