LOL at "fascist dictator" if he has more seats than Labour then he has the democratic vote of the people like it or not. Labour being propped up by a party that no one in England even voted for, that sounds far more like a fascist dictatorship then the Tories. Sounds like your mask is slipping and you revile yourself to be a raving socialist.

Number of seats is meaningless if he can not command a majority vote of confidence. If a majority of democratically elected MPs don't want Cameron to be the PM and Cameron ignores that and illegally forces himself into government then he is acting like a dictator and ignoring our democratic process to keep himself in power.

While walking down the street one day a Member of Parliament is tragically hit by a truck and dies.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

'Welcome to heaven,' says St. Peter. 'Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you.'

'No problem, just let me in,' says the man.

'Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.'

'Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,' says the MP.

'I'm sorry, but we have our rules.'

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he went down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he found himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him. Everyone is very happy and dressed in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people. They played a friendly game of golf and then dined on lobster, caviar and champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly & nice guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it's time to go. Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and wave whilst the elevator rises....

The elevator rises and the door opens in heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him.

'Now it's time to visit heaven.'

So, 24 hours pass with the MP joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

'Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.'

The MP reflects for a minute, then he answers: 'Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.' So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down down to hell.

When the doors open he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. ' I don't understand,' stammers the MP.

'Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened? '

The devil looks at him, smiles and says, ' Yesterday we were campaigning.......


Today you voted.'

I agree - someone gets to propose a gov and it gets voted on, if it fails the other party gets to have a go. Where is it suggested though that DC has suggested that he fancies becoming a fascist dictator or did you just get a bit excited. IF DC ignores our democratic process and illegally forces himself to remain in power then that is behaving like a dictator.

I can think of a bad unusual thing that happened at a summer camp in Norway that was written about widely in English.

Because your extraordinary ignorance of the place is showing. You spout off about what a crime ridden hellhole it is but you've never actually visited; you're going entirely from the biased, one-sided report of websites with an agenda instead of basing either on any objective factors or any personal knowledge.

(I was in Malmo last year; it's a bit disappointing compared to Copenhagen but there was no sign of crime and lawlessness. It felt altogether safer than many UK cities; in fact, I'd willingly bet that it's actually lower crime than many cities in the UK).

Like everyone wants us to have a democratic process, except if you vote for UKIP. Then you shouldn't be allowed.

I would be more fearful of a Green Party government than a UKIP one. Those cranks could drag us back to the dark ages.

I was a bit disappointed by the first episode but it's really started delivering.

The portrayal of the four parties is excellent:

The Tories riven by the poor behaviour of their posh-o wing, and with members openly campaigning for Boris.

Labour caught between old school socialists and the liberal left and not really sure where to go.

The Lib Dems in a bitter mixture of denial and self-hatred.

And the UKIP guy who really just wants to get the UK out of the EU and spends his days trying to bat down the bigots and racists he's surrounded by.

No, not at all. Muslims weren't the ones that even set it up.
