German Grand Prix 2011, Nürburgring Circuit - Race 10/19

Nothing about balance. His PR man must have tipped him off.

Just no grip. Que tyres not upto temp.

DIR with al so identical interview to button. Ar felt good this mourning, just no grip in qauli.

If Denis came back, I think Button would probably be gone and the No2 driver would be some chump who Hamilton could beat without problem - basically Heikki, mk2.

Why? it's a team sport and Button picks up championship points regularly without being a consistent threat to Hamilton, that makes him the ideal no.2 for Hamilton.

The real thing thats strange is, frankly how much slower Hamiltons first Q3 lap was compared to his last one, such a huge difference while no one else improved that much.

Also didn't Massa beat Button on tyres he used in Q2 aswell? lol, Button always has an excuse, wasn't the same as Diresta though, he said the car generally struggled in practice and they didn't improve enough, Button said it got worse.

Fair do's, but he said they took off some front wing from practice and it didn't solve the rear, just got worse, so all the way from Q1 to Q3, they didn't stick the front wing back on? Laughably stupid or more likely, poor excuse.

track temp. Diresta had same problem, in his interview.

What was his out lap like, perhaps he didn't push hard enough and did t get the tyre temp up.

No he didn't, Button said, working in morning, we changed something, it got worse(then they stupidly didn't change it back before Q3), track temp, Button/Hamilton/Vettel/Webber had the same track temp, how is that an excuse.

Diresta said Sutil's improved time came largely from more confidence in the fast corners, nothing more or less, he didn't say the car was worse from practice, unlike Button.

Theres a car, you push it X amount, you get X time, push it Y amount, get y time, Button didn't push as hard, have the confidence, or quite frankly, drive as well.

I'd boil it down to this, Diresta said, car wasn't great but Sutil was faster, the difference was himself, he wasn't good enough. Button said Hamilton was faster, the difference was the car, its all the cars fault, I changed something, it got worse, i didn't change it back....... that damn car. Sorry but calling that the same, is so completely wrong, one made excuses, one made no excuses.

Diresta said that he was fairly happy with the car yesterday and that it got worse today. So pretty much identical to button.

It's not an excuse, I said perhaps he didn't push hard enough on the out lap. How's that an excuse?

hehe Brundle and Coulthard were on form today - excellent commentry. A very enjoyable quali session IMO

Yeah, "you have a secret, why not tell everyone, our millions of fans"....

"yeah, go faster into a camber corner than a flat one". Epic commentary, great secrets and yet more Brundle giving the impression he thinks all the F1 fans are really his fans.
