German Grand Prix 2012, Hockenheim - Race 10/20

Enjoyed that race, great drive by Alonso.

Feel a 10 second penalty would be fair to Vettal, would set them back the other way around.

Oh god... More bloody Santander logo trophys.

Generic garbage. Isn't all the santander logo scattered everywhere else around the track enough? Come up with something original!

How is MSC embarassing? First year he'd been away from the sport for 3 full seasons and was in a car that was 4th best, soundly beaten by a younger driver which is understandable. Last year he was a lot closer to Rosberg and was consistently scoring points, and this year he's had a pole and a podium in a season riddled with horrendous bad luck

Well, think Alonso for the Championship this year now. So long as Ferrari don't let him down with the car, he's becoming the class driver this year. (Not suggesting he wasn't before today)

I wonder if the stewards will conclude Vettel's pass wasn't really legal but the rules don't allow them to punish him...

LOL

Thinking the same to be honest, driving superbly.

IMO and statistically, MSc is the best (most complete) driver of all time. Statistics show he is BY FAR the best (not by a small amount).

For any other driver, MSc's 2nd career (being beaten every year by his team-mate, who is not a great driver), would be fine. For the greatest driver of all time - its embarrassing and certainly tarnishes the greatest name in F1 (as shown by the record books), ever.

You seem to forget he was 41 when he returned, how many 41 year olds have been successful since Fangio's era? Most drivers wouldn't dare compete over 40, but he's given it a damn good go out of love for the sport. He's getting back to be a very good driver, just hasn't got the car to consistently challenge.
