They could all go to the traffic light system and it doesn't go green till all four guns register a set torque, Something along those lines.

Exactly. The technology is already in place, or if not, can be readily implemented.

I think this ban is more a case of precaution until pitstop procedures by ALL teams are reviewed for next season onwards.

Following a detailed investigation into the incident, which has been shared with the FIA and other teams, Red Bull discovered that the problem arose when the right rear wheel gun man's thumb accidentally triggered a 'go' signal - which meant the car was released early.

Very interesting Duke!

That's the first I've heard of teams having a 'Go' button on there guns. Is this why Red Bull were hiding their guns in cases a while ago?
