Its a club decision at this point I believe - although whether he is mentally able to concerntrate IF its as big a deal as some articles are suggesting is another matter.

Sky News have suggested that he may have been involved in a glass throwing incident. In as much as I dont have time for the hypocrite (and no doubt he will have a chapter in is updated biography about regretting the incident) it's also worth pointing out that he has a pretty good public record and doesn't usually get himself in trouble.

Agreed - his "private" life has never really been any problem

Some reports are stating it was started because the club's DJ wouldnt play SG's request (due to club policy) which he/his mates didnt appreciate

I heard on BBC news that he has been bailed until the 20th or so of Jan

But if Gerrard has to miss games for prolonged period because of this and Liverpool dont win the title, will the LFC fans blame him and be able to forgive him? I wonder..

Dont be silly now, there isnt a judge in liverpool who is going to pass any kind of custodial sentence on our stevie, he wont get anything regardless of what he's done.
