Gerrard Arrested?

and in other news Gerrard was voted best Prem midfielder and Carragher the best Prem defender (by a mile) in the Sky Sports Polls ,,
ok you can all go back to the Gerrard bashing, i mean its not like he beats up women or takes drugs *cough* Ferdinand  .. still he's a very naughty boy !!!

It was clearly only Liverpool fans that bothered to vote, and even then Carra and Stevie only got about 2/3 of them :D

Anyone seen the Sky Sports News Clip of Stevie G arriving at Training today in his Range Rover. Watched it three times now is it me or is he on his Mobile? It appears he has a Mobile held to his left ear.

He should really know the cameras are going to be on him more, than usual atm.

You implied that the Echo is biased towards Liverpool but like YLMN pointed out, there's just as many blues writing about us as there is reds.

Argh, not again, this has nothing to do with Everton? I honestly don't know why it keeps coming up.

That still doesn't mean there isn't going to be bias towards Liverpool and their players?

It keeps coming up as you called the Echo the 'red' newspaper. And whether the reporter supported Everton or Liverpool would have a big influece on your claims that the story was bias or not.

The only other reason for your claims would be as YLMN said regarding keeping the LFC happy but that would be no different to any of the national papers.

Amazing! Liverpool had the best Striker, Midfielder, Defender and Goal keeper in the league last year.........
And they STILL won nothing.

United had nothing but overated thugs, overpaid premadonna showponies and old men, yet won the two biggest club trophies in the world.
Funny that.

It's a vote for the year not season so what trophies were won for the season count for very little :p

Good job in liverpools case that isnt it?
At least you have some phone vote results to put in your trophy cabinet to show what you won in 2008.

I claimed that the paper was biased.

Whether the writer supported Liverpool or not (Everton have nothing to do with it) is something else. And national papers or news sources go out of their way to keep the happiness? So...managers and players don't moan to the press about the press, managers haven't shunned certain media "channels" recently? ;)

Christ it's like Skrtel's challenge vs Man City again.....:(

Exactly. It's just as likely that the Echo will be bias (or won't) as any of the nationals as the consequences are exactly the same.

Yea. You're wrong again :p

I do think that the Echo is biased tbh Baz, Just as MEN is biased towards the manchester clubs and their city in general as are the birmingham post and the london standard or whatever it is.

Don't really see anything wrong with it though, i like my local paper to be slightly biased towards where i actually live, and it might be a perfectly accurate article on Gerrard just that, in general, it is biased.

In general the Echo is 100x more reliable than any of the national papers regarding anything to do with Liverpool, which was the point of my initial post.

Like i mentioned earlier the only reason for any bias in any of the Echo's articles would be that they don't want to **** the club off but that's very much the case with most of the national newspapers and top football clubs too.

Lol 10/10 for the most roundabout meaningless statement of the thread. :p. You do realise that this isn't an attack on LFC Baz, there's no need for defending my local rag I'm just stating that it's not as impartial as people have implied that it is. Not as impartial as say the BBC is supposed to be.

Yea. You're wrong again :p

Of course I am, yes ;)

Im just stating that they are considerably more reliable than any of the nationals papers when it comes to LFC (proven time and time again) and the article that you questioned was the only article giving information that didn't come from the DJ's milkman's cousin. But if you prefer the Daily Mail.....;)
