Gerrard Arrested?

Hope these quotes of "up to 5 years in jail" are bogus.

5 yeas is the absolute maximum he could get. If he's found guilty then he's not likely to get anything more than a fine and a few hours community service. And it wouldn't be unlikely if he got off completely unpunished either.

So you read the Echo all the time then? Didn't think so.

As far as information regarding LFC goes, they are pretty damn reliable.

It's delivered to our door and has been for the last four years. Do you read it all the time? I honestly find it hard to believe that you use it as a source of information regarding LFC considering, you're not even its catchment area?

Same to the guy from Newcastle as well. I honestly didn't realise that red fans outside the city, use this local paper (the local "red" paper, I'll add again) along with the other sources for red news. I assume you regularly read it as well..?

Edit 5 years...**** me...2009? :(
As for the Echo being the 'red' newspaper of the City, the article i was referring to wasn't from anybody from the Sports side of the paper. As for the reliability of the Echo in general (regarding LFC), it's considerably more reliable than any of the nationals.

A local paper reporting on a local incident is generally more reliable than somebody quoting a friend of a friend or a milkman in one of the nationals.

Having read it (see above) for a considerable amount of time my point is that it won't really reveal an impartial story. And well, as a red fan you'll know how significantly useless the Sun will be in handling this event more than anybody else. ;)

Had the article been wrote by Tony Barratt (he covers Liverpool for the Echo) then you could argue that it wasn't impartial (even though he's actually a very good journo) but this was wrote by somebody outside the football side of the paper.

Southport is Gerrard haunt he brings so much money to that place it would be crazy for them to send him down, some altercation will halt court precedings and everyone will go back to being sane.

I realy hope SuperGay gets sent down. Not only it will destroy he's career but it will screw Looserfool hopes of winning the league :D

I know, it was a light hearted joke.

Going to reply to my post from earlier then or just give up because you're wrong?

What question?

Im not wrong - its impossible to be in a matter of opinion

Anyway you ignored the FACT that SG has played out of midfield for a number of games this season - which just so happen to coincide with all round better results for the club......

By the time he has been through the full crown court system we will have wrapped the league up. Sending him down over the summer for a little rest would be perfect.

My bet will be the DJ is after a few quid and will attempt to settle out of court. i.e. drop the charges in return for being allowed to sell his story to the national papers plus a big brown envelope from Mr Gerrard.

By the time he's done with court on 23rd Jan, LooserFool would have won the league by then? Are you feeling alright?

Last time i checked the league carrys on till sometime in May.

Second i doubt the DJ will drop charges. Hopefully F.A will come in screw him even more. :D:D:D
