Second i doubt the DJ will drop charges. Hopefully F.A will come in screw him even more.

His first hearing on the 23rd of Jan is at a magistrates court. The magistrates will decide that it is a case they cannot rule upon and therefore refer it to Crown Court.

Getting a date at Crown Court could take months depending on the schedules...

Just depends whether the DJ is a Liverpool fan or not

My guess with him being from Southport he is likely to be a united fan so will push it as far as he can. He wont be allowed to talk about the case to the papers until after it has been through courts or charges are dropped.

Papers usual tactic though is to invent a 'girlfriend' who tells her version of the story

Well no, not really, having nobody but red writers would prove my point, but I suppose they've got to have some blues in there to give the impression that they're impartial..

Even if they have both on board (makes sense) having red writers write red articles will still create bias in their reporting.

It's biased in its coverage of liverpool FC related stories I will say that. But that's only because nobody cares about what Everton are doing.

I wasn't referring to Everton (whose fans I'm sure will be aggrieved at what you implied haha!

) but my main point is; there will be bias in their reporting of Gerrard's night out. I wouldn't say it's an impartial source of information and one I'm quite surprised people are saying is.

Course there will be bias in their reporting of his night out. If they slam him then Liverpool will stop giving the exclusive interviews etc.

Gerrard is a midfielder, the fact that you can try to say otherwise is just laughable. Just because he's ridiculously versatile that doesn't change what his natural position is. What would you say he is then, a striker? Negative!!

Come on Franky boy, it's not highly debatable is it? Yes there are some other very good CM's in the Premiership but Gerrard is just that little bit better than them all. He can do everything.

Yep. Even played as a full back in the CL final in Istanbul.

Gerrard is the complete midfielder.

Anyone seen the Sky Sports News Clip of Stevie G arriving at Training today in his Range Rover. Watched it three times now is it me or is he on his Mobile? It appears he has a Mobile held to his left ear.

You implied that the Echo is biased towards Liverpool but like YLMN pointed out, there's just as many blues writing about us as there is reds.

And regarding the Gerrard incident, like i said earlier, this was reported on by somebody outside the football side of the paper.
