Getting a new 360... Do all have FALCON?

Buying a new XBOX 360 off the net tomorrow... One of mine is banned for some strange reason and one has 3 rings of death...

All the packs have changed now... and all come with HDMI ports?

Also someone said...

HALO3 Limited Edition - Falcon.

Elite - Falcon

Pro pack - some have Falcon but no all.

Arcade - Falcon.

Could someone let me know about the whole Falcon bit?

Think of the Elite as the old premium was compared to the core. A better starting package although nothing you can't buy seperately to make it the same if you get the cheaper one.

hmm I thought only the Elite and Pro had HDMI ports With the Elite package you get the 120gb HD which is worth £130 and the HDMI cable included which is £35 on its own so its quite a good deal. Thats pretty much the only difference though.

Just that any 360 without HDMI wont have a FALCON.

So therfore is it all HDMI 360's have a Falcon or just some?

And if so how do i know it has one?

Nope. There have reports that some lot 734's appear to be falcon and most 735's are falcon.

You know if you flash a light you can see a new revision on the heatsink and something else that that I can't remember at the moment.

I hope the new models are using new cooling fans and not the winey old ones. I could live with the DVD drive, it was the drone from the fans that lead me to sell it.

It's a lottery as to what you get. The Elites use either the DC Burshless or Nidec fans. The Brushless have been reported as very 'whiney' (mine are) and the nidec quiet. It could be a bad batch or it could be that's how they are. My mates premium with DC Brushless fans is super quiet however.

I'm guessing the Falcons aren't any quieter than the old 90mn ones? They're still probably using the same fans.
