Getting evicted

You may have to downsize to a one bedroom apartment.

It's time to go shopping.

I'm sure if you are renting for over a certain period of time you have more rights

This is why most places are on 6 month contracts, as after one year you have much more rights. If the O P has only had one contract then it will be very difficult to be evicted

I fail to see any big deal here... you are paying rent now so find somewhere else and pay rent there instead..

you can stay he needs to give you 2 months notice a section 21 which you dont need to sign and then you can play on deposit scheme to hold things up, and then you can wait till the court summons. its a very long process up2 6 months.

I'd definitely suggest finding somewhere else to live. That's the common thing to do when someone gets evicted. The other option is homelessness, which I wouldn't recommend.

I earn £400 per month, I look after the kids, my partner, the main wage earner is bankrupt and will have no chance getting a property with her name on.

I would not get a property that costs £500 per month on my own as i only work part time and do not earn enough money.

The rent we pay is £433 every month and it's very cheap for a 3 bedroom house. So ocuk what do i do, we work for a living so that means no council house?

wat

OK I get it now. Not every place does a credit check - but that's what a deposit is for. They may ask for say, 3 months deposit instead of the usual 1 month - but if you look hard enough, you'll find somewhere.

Then how are you managing to afford it now??
Apply exactly what you are doing now to the new place. It's not rocket science surely.
If you can't put the rental agreement in her name, put it in yours.
WTF is the deal here, I ain't seen it yet

Most accurate post so far, eviction must be done by court order, and is a long process, just be thankfull you have a heads-up and can start making plans.

With minus £33pm left over, how do you manage to pay for things such as food, utility bills, clothing et al?

Does not compute.
