Getting iOS7 onto my iphone :)

I tried this on my Iphone4S, its a very nice IOS I must admit, quite a few nice features in there, and looks nice IMO. However, for obvious reasons, its not the quickest, so for that reason I went back to 6.1.3. I do look forward for the full release though :)

Rolled back due to battery drain and a lot of bugs & crashes (in native and 3rd party apps). The look grew on me quite a bit and there are some nice features. Nothing ground breaking but there isn't much more to add (same goes for most smartphones).

Tip: if you do upgrade then backup before and copy the backup. Otherwise it'll get replaced when you backup again and you can't restore an ios 7 backup on to a 6.1.3/4 phone if you downgrade later.

Just done the same myself this morning. Was fun to play with ios7 but the bugs and battery life drain started to drive me crazy

Yep, I wonder what improvements there are!

Apple Seeds iOS 7 Beta 2 to Developers

Two weeks after Apple released the first beta version of iOS 7 following its unveiling at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple has just released a second beta for testing. The update is currently available through Apple's over-the-air updating system on iOS devices, and should be posted soon to the iOS Dev Center.

IOS 7 Beta2 working well on my iPad2 with no UDID

Make sure your existing iPad is on 6.13 and not jailbroken (restore to 6.13 if it is)
Make sure you have latest iTunes installed
Download the IPSW file for your device (google it)
Plug in the iPad then in iTunes press 'shift' and Click "Check for updates" NOT Restore
Browse to the IPSW file and in 5-6 minutes you will be rocking IOS7

Just downloading actually, whilst I never use my iPhone 5 these days I do get a fair amount of use out of my iPads so I might as well give them a go with it :)
