I have some 6 hours and it seems so far better than Wildlands, in that it is more immersive and atmospheric. Eventhough Auroa is not as beautiful as Bolivia.
It is necessary to disable temporal injection though. With it enabled the game is a blurry mess, it is like a parody of DLSS. Without it, it is nice and crisp and sharp. Although of course the temporal injection increases framerate (a LOT).
So far there are three things I dislike:
- no ability to holster guns when out in the field (what a dumb thing when the animations are already there)
- weird 20 milisecond lag between voiced dialogue and lipsync, which really harms the dialogue scenes
- unnecessarily complicated and unintuitive GUI (I am getting used to it though)
Everything else I like. Especially the immersive and nonguided mode and larger focus on movie like presentation.
