This site has scans of all 3 versions packaging, seems to be no online for the pc version whatsoever.

Ok, pop quiz. Which of the three realistic versions is getting the shaft? If you said, "PC", you're a winner! Compare the feature list of the PC with that of the PS3 and Xbox 360 and you'll notice that the PC does NOT have: Online multiplayer co-op (or any online activities at all!) and downloadable content, even though a PC game not only is capable of such features, PC gaming INVENTED those features!

Way to ensure that PC owners just pirate this now

Wouldn't suprise me, seems pc gamers are getting the shaft when it comes to things that we come to expect in pc games. If the 360 and ps3 versions have it then theres no reason why the pc version shouldn't.

Oh and to add insult to inury, apparently atari have downloadable content planned for the 360 and ps3 versions, but nothing for the pc version.

Talk about getting shafted.

Might want to look over that review again, it doesn't say what platform its for.

Also the scan of the back of the box states "internet connectection not required after authentication".
It does, and thats why i changed it to *ignore* - its for the PS3 version, though ve3d listed it as pc review (lamers)

Oh well, i wont be buying it unless they release a multiplayer patch later on.

news = non-surprise. Without a brand backing pc as its own (microsoft doesnt count) this will only continue. The advantage of not having that brand backing is that dev kits get released and good mods come about. Probably not the case with this game though :P

the online is a bugger, but to be honest the CONSUMER gets shafted with additional content. i'm pretty sure a lot of developers just see it as a nice way to make some extra money buy charging for some stuff they were going to put in the game anyway.

I am confused..have they given any reason at all for 'raping' the PC version?
Seems a bit pointless to screw over what is still a very strong consumer base like this..

Not as yet, be interesting to hear what complete BS they can fire out as a valid reason though. Gonna have to be a doozy to explain why the original and best online platform gets rogered out of half a game.
