Ghostbusters Reboot

The SJW's are having a field day with this, if you don't like it because it looks like a really bad unfunny movie then your obviously sexist

We cant win either way with this, if it flops then Mumsnet/The View/Loose Women etc will use it as an excuse to have a 'debate' about how sexist Hollywood is and how sexist men are in general for not 'giving it a chance'. If it succeeds then we'll get more of this crap and less of Aykroyds' plan for his sequel.

I really doubt we'll ever get a proper sequel, Ernie Hudson is 70 years old (yet looks about 20 years younger than the 5 years younger Murray), and the other 2 are in their mid 60's. Harold Ramis would have been 71 at this point. You're talking at least a couple of more years for the possibility of an actually sequel starting to film, its just been left far too long :(

Dear God I saw the trailer today and it looks AWFUL in terms of acting and script!

Possibly the most overtly insulting thing is how they have three white geniuses, and one huge black dumb lug of a woman with exaggerated hood accent. "I don't know much about this here science thingamajug but I can got my my uncles car any time I wan, hur hur". I mean seriously Hollywood, with all of the recent media attention focussed on race and you still dare to do this racial stereotyping ****?

This movie would have worked so much better if it had been a mixed team, two guys and two girls, advocating equality. Instead it's simply an excuse to flaunt modern feminism in our faces, completely unnecessarily, while destroying one of the most beloved movie franchises if all time.

I feel like I'm judging it cos of the all female line up but they play to much into their actors stereotypes same jokes from all their other films.

The prop design looks awesome though, cgi looks rubish until slimer

They could have made the female cast all stunning, and had their outfits being bikinis or short pleated skirts. That might have been watchable.

Regardless... this feels like 1995 Joel Schumacher stuff.

I'd say that was an insult to 1995 Joel Schumacher stuff. At least Batman Forever had a few redeeming qualities. Not many, I'll grant you. But more than this trailer appears to have.

This sounded like it'd be unbelievably bad, trailers looks unbelievably bad, it'll be unbelievably bad.

Cat suit is the only thing;)

That was Michelle Pfeiffer in Returns, when Tim Burton was still at the helm ;)

Only late on in Forever if memory serves, but not for Batman himself - the suit used for the end of Forever didn't have nipples, but the Robin suit did. In Batman & Robin, all the suits had nips. Including the Batgirl costume for Alicia Silverstone, because - of course - what that suit really needed was more emphasis on the funbags....:o:D

Here's the international trailer with even more hilarity...Their secretary is a man.
