That’s exactly what I thought. It was the chip I was originally waiting for anyway but as it won’t work on my X470 mobo I may give it a miss completely.

Or go with the original plan and pick one up on Black Friday with a discounted mobo.

Truly a first world problem, I know.

I ordered a 3800X on the 7th and upgraded it to a 3900X on the 9th.

You should check your overclockers order status in your customer page. Mine simply says "not yet shipped"
