These are needed on OCUK bad!! Found them for £85 new on the interwebs but I hate buying PC components from any where but OCUK...

Those at a nice price with a 290 or 290X would be an awesome combo...

GET THEM IN!!! :D

The ones you found are the 680 version and they won't work on a 7970 without a shim, let alone a 290X. The 7970 version is EOL.

While it looks good and all, but cooling performance wise, I can't see it being better than the Prolimatech MK-26.

From review on the internet is pretty much destroys any GPU air cooler while being more or less completely silent....

ASUS used a similar all in one solution on the ARES 3 and that things runs cool and the 120mm radiator on that has to handle 2 GPU's!

Imagine trying to use four of those.

I had one on my 7970. Using more than one would be difficult, but not impossible. I've seen a couple of people using two. Using more than that it would be impossible. It provided marginally better temps than the standard accelero at a slightly louder, but still quiet noise. The problem was the vrm cooling. My 7970 also died wearing this cooler, though i don't believe the cooler itself was at fault.

More reason for Gibbo to buy up all the stock from the factory :D

And I used a copper shim I bought from ebay for £2 and it worked like a treat when I mounted my Antec Kuhler 620 to my 7950....

i wait wait wait wait for these for far too long. and last week i ordered a Antec 620 and a few ramsinks. i will be doing the "Red Mod" next week. i will post results if i dont kill the card :D

Oh, I hope someone does release an after market AIO water cooler. Combine that with the lenient MSI warranty at OCUK and we're onto a winner!

Ha! Done exactly the same. Got a 620 coming, my Sigma_Cool MkII bracket is on the way from the states, and my memsinks and fan should arrive today :D

It's my project for next week. I've got a mATX mobo and running two TahitiLE cards right next to each other with zero gap between makes the top card ridiculously hot and loud.

So I'm Red Modding the top card (keeping my Sapphire as stock as the cooler on that is fantastic and very quiet), and hopefully I should be able to run crossfire while maintianing single card temps and noise levels.

I sincerely doubt most OcUK customers would be stupid enough to pay money for those...

For reference this was Arctics failed attempt to cash in on an idea spawned by the consumer base, people started using cable ties and custom brackets to attach Corsair/Antec AIO coolers to their cards but on high end cards this meant the VRM's got too hot so the "Dwood" bracket emerged that let people attach an Corsair/Antec AIO plus a 92mm fan of their choosing, Arctic saw this and released the Accelero Hybrid at >£100 more than the entire cost of a Dwood setup (including the AIO). Not surprisingly it failed miserably because it was targeting an audience that already knew how to do it the cheap way.

That's fair enough, but some people prefer to have a clean looking official solution without the fiddling and are willing to pay a bit extra for it.

Agreed.... I used one of the brackets before and it was a crappy looking thing and it was fidley to mount...

This Arctic unit is much nicer looking then any of the mods, only problem it had was the price, Arctic basically priced it out of the market.

If OCUK can get there hands on any old stock, or even refurb stock like they have with the Corsaid H series then I'll buy a couple in a heartbeat for my 7950's

OcuK have no chance of getting any. All they will be able to do is get the 680 version and use a shim. I know as when i had my 7970 i was in contact with Artic on a daily basis for months on end. Asking them to get me one. After all that time the best they could do was charge me the full price and send me a second hand one. I ended up sending it back and getting a refund.
