That is good news, I will probably go for that. Can't see any deals better than that kicking about. The £10 unlimted bag always did seem too good to be true to be honest.

thers a goody bag for 3Gb which allows tethered which is £12-50.

but thats the same price as i pay with voda,so price matching it seems.

That's a gigabag, no minutes or texts. You have to pay normal rates in order to use that.

To be honest it doesn't look like we're going to get a reasonable tethering plan any time soon. Unlimited data (it is unlimited, within reason - I could use 5GB of internet on my phone, no tethering, and I doubt they'd bat an eyelid), 250 minutes, and unlimited texts for £12, yet no 3GB tethered option for the same price? I can understand not being unlimited, seeing as the average user is using 750MB or less per month and unlimited tethering would kill them, but tethering costs for all networks are extortionate.

As we decided in the community consultation, the £10 goodybag will be updated with a 1GB Mobile Internet allowance and a new £12 goodybag will be introduced with unlimited Mobile Internet as outlined below. These changes are currently planned for 6th November.

I got the same thing but with 600mins from three, its 12month contract but comes with £75 quidco so its works out better.

I have wifi at work but its slower then my 3g speeds. I tend to get 8-10mb (Three) and the wifi is 1-4mb so I just use the 3g. If I was capped I would use wifi but its nice to be able to get something better.

Nope, I've found buying outright and going £10 giffgaff will be £100 cheaper over two years than getting a free handset with a £36 contract.
 
Some people (or so I've heard) make thousands of £'s a year through posting on the GG forums. My payback was 1.76 lol sent it off to whatever charity was chosen.
 
I got my £41 yesterday too :) really didn't do much, just replied to a load of forum threads and signed up 2 people.

My original £10 credit when I first signed up is now at about £4.65, £41 back is awesome as it's virtually meant I have paid £10 for 5 months use of GiffGaff
