Gigabyte DS3/DS4/DQ6 Guide

Bumping a very old thread here, but i've had this board since the thread was started and it's done just fine on the below settings until i added another 2 gigs of ram.

I am currently running
E6550 From the stock 2.2Ghz up to 3.32Ghz
4 gigs of Geil 6400 800Mhz
475FSB with a 2X multiplier on the memory.
+0.3V on the memory
+0.1V on the MCH
1.45V on the CPU

I've since added another 2 identical sticks of ram, and even though the pc boots up fine, it fails a prime 95 test after 30seconds or so.

What would be the first thing to look at in the bios settings? Its running the latest bios btw.

Thanks

I had the same issues after about 3 months of use.

For the first 3 months it worked fine, then it suddenly stopped. I upped the northbridge by small amounts until it was stable.

I was finding I had to up the voltage before I could event post though.

+1 4 sticks takes more MCH(northbridge).
