4494/2660 is 1.68947368 no? (so 168.95%)

That is corect but your cpu-z reads 2.67ghz as stock speed for some reason hence my calculation.

But you are indeed right so I shall update this in a few.

But yes I agree - the more the merrier. Personally I think that a 200% plus overclock will be needed to be competitive at the end of the day. The overclock stage will determine who wins this contest I believe.

I think your completely right on it coming down to the overclock. Its making the already impossible even harder for me.

I don't think I can compete on those overclocks unless I go subzero which I haven't got the funds for at the min. Unless any of you are close enough to northampton and have a phase unit you fancy letting me bench with.

I didn't get time to have a go with the Athlon last night but I need 4.75ghz out of it to get a firm lead.

That is quite pricey - you can get next day www.dioxice.com for £25 and it is in 3mm pellets think it comes in 12.5KG bags. Works well. Solid blocks can be got for £10 a go if you look around but not easy to find. Shipping is what makes the cost expensive.

Its not cheap but is not massively expensive 10kg is a days benchig at least.

Edit: damn it is expensive where I found, that was the cheapest supplier I could find as well.

I'm not on the overall scoreboard, but other than that looks about right I think.

Multiplier trick can only get me to a 3.57% underclock if I knew how. Meaning I would need 17 points to tie 1st place. And I doubt I can hit 150% overclock, let alone 170%. Oh well, was a fun comp at least!
