Has anyone taken the plunge and bought one of these. Was after any user reviews on battery life and temps compared to the older models?

Due to get back on land next week so was thinking of ordering one. But still have concern over temps of the unit.

I just ordered my one from OcUK, hopefully get it by early next week and give some quick reports here ;)
 
Davidkwan, thanks for the reply.A quick report would be awesome since there's very little online about the new model. It will probably not put me off buying one since there isn't many other alternative that has everything I want. But with the change in the processor was wondering how much this changes temps and battery life at all.
Ive read reports that the i7-6700 processor actually see a 5-6 degree drop in overall temps compared the previous ones. Sure its not going to fix the apparent heating issues with the p34W ( I say apparent as some people say its run hot and other say it isn't to bad). I plan to put an order in towards the end of next week for Saturday delivery as that when I get back on land. So trying to soak up as much info about this beast as possible before i jump in

Cheers I'd seen the first link and translated it before. Even though it was very detailed there was nothing about temps in it. Ill take a look at the second link. But nothing beats hands on user experience. Either way I doubt ill be disappointed with my purchase in the end its either this or a Razer and they're stupidly expensive and you can open them with out voiding the warranty
 
I do notice on the second link the internal cooling system is slightly different to previous models still using the dual heating pipes but one of them is extra wide that could be a good sign on trying to reduce temps in the machine :)
 
Just received my P34W-V5 laptop. Overall looks brilliant. Metallic lid and palm rest make the laptop feel great but not cheap. SSD confirmed with Samsung MZVPV128 NVMe and 1TB WD drive. For further performance benchmark and heat test, will do that sometime later today.

Awesome, I was going to place an order today I look forward to reading what you find with performance benchmark, heat test etc and any other positive / negatives. Although i doubt it will stop me from buying one unless its terrible.

I Just ordered this last night and now today i log on and see the price has dropped by 3%! I know its only 3% but every little helps WTF! If only I'd held out for another day hmmmm

If a product isnt on offer,,, its maybe worth waiting until a Wednesday afternoon when OcUK update their "THIS WEEK ONLY" selections... just a bit of friendly manufacturer advise for the future.

Thanks for your reply / advice and kind gesture wasn't my intention to get freebiews but I'm certainly not going to say no to that :).
My order hasn't processed yet as I went for Saturday delivery. So technically I could cancel the order and redo it and gain the -3% reduction in price. But thought better not confuse the order with multiple orders and cancellations etc

I drop you guys a trusted message shortly with a delivery address as it will be different from the OCUK address used as I fly back to the UK today and then am only home for 5 days before jetting off again.

Many thanks again and i enjoy reading your posts im super excited to receive my P34W after many hours of research on various makers and model this seem to suit all my needs. Just have to hope OCUK Process and ship it today now for me to receive it tomorrow :).Otherwise it will be several months before Im back in the UK and can get it.

nobody - received your email with postal details. We will despatch some items for you next weeek, but assume you will be away - is it best for us to delay, or is the address able to recceive packages in your absence?
