What cpu are you going for in yours?

all the cpus i see seem to be £120+

and I see very few 3570k for sale.

Will need to read into it more and get a thread started.

Edit; would a 2500k on this board with a 7950 gpu struggle in any particular games? Or very good for the price point?

I'm looking for a 2500k myself. The board was built for it, I just reckon it will be easier with that cpu.

A 2500k, even at stock will be very nice for gaming with a 7950

Looking at the support list all CPUS are supported from BIOS revision FD including all Sandy Bridge CPU'S.

But looking at the BIOS download page there were older BIOS'S.

I am doing a build for a friend and he has already bought an Ivy Bridge 3220.

Can someone confirm if this board will be okay with Ivy Bridge processors out the box?

If so will buy one today.

Don't have a Sandy Bridge processor to flash bios if it doesn't work.
