girl thread again...

I'd leave her alone for a few more days and then drop on her doorstep Xmas morning with a gift and flowers -
If she turns you away just leave them with her and say at least have the gifts.....

I wouldn't even do that to be honest. There's nothing worse that coming across as, and also feeling, desperate. Maintain your dignity I say!

Treat em mean keep em keen.

Stop buying her all that cool shizz, make her work for it (in terms of money and also work at the relationship). Relationships take a lot of work from both sides to work properly. If she gets the message and puts more effort in then there's a future. If she isn't prepared to do something about it then get rid.

If you have to post on a forum about it... etc.

My own personal rule, if I am upset more than 90% of the time I am in a relationship, it's not worth my (or her) time. What's the point in being unhappy for more than 10% of your life? Something needs to change.

Has worked for me, and I am now married.

What the hell dude!? You must be brainwashed-blind in love or something! Only a year, 6 months of which has been earthquake-unstable hell and you've been thinking of marrying and having children with her?!! Slap yourself fast and hard, dude and realise this was over ages ago. Pursuing this any further is only remotely even worth considering if you totally believe (and I mean from a balanced perspective rather than your current brainwashed-blind in love perspective) that deep down, issues resolved she is the best woman in the world.

You seem like a nice enough level headed bloke (brainwashed-blind in love part aside), so bail fast and move on to someone who deserves you.

:)

Yeah for the amount of stuff he bought, I hope he was granted unfettered access to the tea-towel holder.

lol some of them I can take back... shes hard work and I do really think she has issues.
It was nice when we were together but its liked she wanted to break up and argue with me all the time for no reason. We were even trying for a baby too.. All I want to know now is why she has done it? ill go nuts of shes with someone else.. she always had freaks messaging her when I was with her that I told her to stop it or im leaving her.. I even told them myself. its hard not knowing whats going on..

She said she werent interested in money I just done nice things for her and made her happy but nothing was even enough.
she said I made no effort but I was always there I took her for her kid all the time and took her to work there was maybe a few times I didnt want to do something with her but its the way she was acting with me I would just rather go out with my friends and get drunk!

Trying for a baby in an unstable relationship is a terrible idea.

You told her to stop it, or you're leaving her when people text her. Controlling. Lack of trust.

You mention spending money on her a lot, yet rarely talk about feelings for her, or her for you.

She criticises your effort in the relationship, you think she means driving her to work. You can't buy effort in a relationship, she means effort into making things work between you on an emotional level.

She's 30, you're 24. Your priorities are different, you have friends, and going out, she likes staying in & she's at an age where pressures to settle down & have a child are coming from all angles. Neither are wrong, just not very compatible.

You pander to the needs you think she has, it doesn't seem to do the trick, so you do more, more expensive, more dramatic it doesn't change the way she feels. That's because you're pandering to what you think she needs, not what she actually wants from your relationship.

Major red flags all the way. It likely will never work, move on, and let her move on too. She doesn't belong to you, and you're holding each other back.

Thanks for the advice :)
We had plenty of fun times together and I made her feel very special but I suppose that just werent enough... she told me that she wanted a fairytale relationship..
I really did want to settle down and I just wanted to be happy but I still wanted to see my friends.

Mate not read whole thread but as a man in similar situation, its not worth the stress, money and thinking you did something wrong, leave it and move on, will save you so much stress than begging her to come back controlling you and bleeding you dry.

There are plenty women out there so don’t loose your life friends and perhaps family for one that will never respect love and cherish you
My 2 pennies worth

I'm not usually one to post in threads like this, but that just sticks out for me. Surely there's no such thing as a fairytale relationship, which just shows how immature she is. Bail.

she told me that she wanted a fairytale relationship..
Then she is an idiot & needs to grow up.

It sounds like she has unreasonable expectations, considering from what you said she's hardly the prefect fairytale princess.

Get her to **** for want of a better expression. She is emotionally raping you and it is absolutely not fair. It will be difficult obviously, but you need to not contact her and move on in your own time. Get out with your friends and socialise - you wont want to do this, but I promise you it will make you feel better.

I would love to say I hope she comes back and apologises and things work out, but in reality you have to look at it from the perspective of... do you really want to waste your life trying to keep this person happy, when they clearly have got issues and have hurt you many times along the way? Keep telling yourself that you deserve better than that, because chances are it is true. Good luck.

You got taken as a mug. She's had a holiday out of you and some birthday spa treatment and god knows what else.

You've been used. I never understand men who go out with women that expect the man to buy them stuff. It's insane. We are all "equal" these days, so pay 50/50 imo. (I understand we all treat our partners and stuff, but its a two way street).

Get rid, find some other girl who you like more. Get an upgrade. Don't be a mug. Don't be afraid to exert a bit of manliness once in a while, put your foot down from time to time.

I think some guys are **** scared that if they actually stand up and grow a backbone their woman might leave them. I'd say it is more likely to earn some respect and get them to think differently about you other than "He's a doormat".

Man up...for christ sake!

lmao :D

Man. Up.

No hoowher would be telling me I cannot see my pals! Delete her number from your phone and move on! Spend the money on yourself instead of her and have a good time with it. Enjoying life=happy=women^2
