Giving a scare

I drive like a Saint when I have passengers - my opinion is that when there are people in your car, you are responsible for their safety. Most of them won't appreciate wild antics anyway.

If I want to drive like I've just stolen my car and have a great time, I do it when its just me in the car. That way, if I make a mistake or overcook it, it's only me who is affected, not a friend of mine who only wanted a lift.

Are you a taxi driver ? :p

I had some fun this winter terrorising my wife and son in the snow!!

Especially with the truck. 2 semi-bald tyres on the (lighter than a feather) rear end plus V-8 happiness and a lead foot equals some SERIOUS drifting action in parking lots!!

Wife : "OH, MY, GOD!! Darrin, knock that **** off!!"

Son : "AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Daddy!! Stop that!!!"

Me : *evil laugh* Hee, hee, hee, hee. Shall we do it again?"

Both wife and son : NO!!!

What about the people in the other car or the kid on the pavement?

Hey at least you won't have to give him a lift in the future. ;)

I tend to drive a bit slower with others in the car, depends what mood I'm in. Can't really scare them though, only scaring you could do in a 1.6 focus is aiming for another car!

You obviously cant drive correctly. ;) I have had someone tell me to stop the car now as they wanted to get out. :o Also yes i have a 1.6 Focus.

Hell, I had someone tell me to stop the car so they could walk.....

I was driving a Volkswagen Beetle. A 1959 Stuttgart Edition 1300cc Volkswagen Beetle!! :D

when i'm on four wheels i agree 100% with the above, when on two wheels the percentage is even higher.

Seems it wasn't needed. Though I can't quite work out why. Maybe using public roads "for scaring people" is acceptable. Either that or people can see into the future and know the outcome of their manouvers.
next thing you'll be telling me is there are double standards going on here.....and surely THAT can't be true ;)

You really think I'm stupid enough to cane my car in an area where there are kids on pavements? I don't think so, besides, I doubt going fast in residential areas is anywhere near as fun as doing it on a nice open road with nobody else around.

Last time I did it was the other day, at 2am, around the local B roads. Had a great time, didn't see another car.
