To be completely honest with you, attacking the size of my cars engine isnt going to better your point, you were advocating dangerous driving no question.

I dont believe you can have much more fun in an old 2.0 Mondeo, which only does 0-60 about a half a second quicker than my car (when it was new 8 years ago).

I think you need to grow up a little.

I have an ever better idea than responding to you.

I was advocating dangerous driving? Completely and utterly untrue, I was doing nothing of the sort.

I really, really don't take kindly to people who don't have a clue making allegations like that. It annoys me.

You have absolutely no right to accuse me of dangerous driving. You do NOT know me, you have NEVER seen me drive, you have absolutely ZERO basis for such a sweeping accusation.

Are you suggesting that everyone who says they enjoy a spirited drive does so in a dangerous fashion? Are you really such a poor driver that you see no middle ground between driving everywhere at 30mph and dangerous driving?

Staggering.

Your car does 0-60 in 9.9 seconds? Impressive. By the way, it's 6 years old. I cry about the age every night, actually. I wish I'd bought a mid spec Golf on a huge amount of finance, actually, then I'd have an 05 plate :(

Still, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I think you need to grow up a little.

YOU thinkI need to grow up a little?

Well it's certainly a different viewpoint to what I normally get around here, most people here think I need to un-age about 20 years :p

Furthermore, one question I'd like you to answer direct as I assume you'll skirt round most of my above post..

This thread contains people openly admiting they drive their cars right on the limit, drive very fast, and intentially slide the car on the public road in order to scare passengers.

Yet you ignored these. You instead picked me, somebody who said he drives like a saint with passengers and only enjoys himself when alone, to launch your tirade of boring, off the mark, dangerous driving rant at.

Why?

I try to scare my girlfriend but she just loves "driving really fast around country roads when it's dark". :(

Some people are *really* easy to scare though. Terrified passengers = :D.

Stealth mode!

Turn all lights off on a country road at night

LOL! First hand experience then eh? I just noticed you're from Congelton but Alsager f.t.w tbh.

Yea, only poking fun at the lads, all are good drivers when we go out for a blast tbh.

Depends which bit you live in my area is nice ;)

Lol this reminds me of a rather fun time in my life when i were in my late teens, both myself and my best m8 at the time were heavily into Xr2's(mk2's not that bloated fuel injected crap)

but anyways 125 mph on b roads at 3 am had my m8 cowering in the footwell begging to live. served him right for saying he was a quicker driver than me :)

When I did this with my ex-girlfriend, she seemed more concerned about "the poor baby rabbits" then her own safety

Apologies if you were offended, i merely pointed out at first that your original comment made it seem like the only people to worry about when driving is yourself and your passengers, thats how you worded it, maybe not what you mean but how it was worded. And of course this is wrong, and i cant understand why you dont think that original comment was how it should be.
