Hmm another worrying event.

Its early but eye witnesses are all suggesting it looked very deliberate and was in no way an accident.

There is also a security alert at Ibiza airport and a controlled explosion has been carried out, although thats beleived to be ETA at the moment.

of course it was deliberate.. the guys got out the car and started fighting with police
Eye witness reporting that the guys inthe car were

1)spinning hte wheels so they caught fire
2)smashing bottles of petrol making sure the car went up in flames

What we need is ID cards..........but people dont want that. IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE THEN WHATS THE PROBLEM? Will it be any different from carrying a drivers license about :confused:

I bet you the people that did this havnt even been in the country for a week and they probaiblly flew in through Glascow airport under fake passports and everything.

You are joking, right? How does a plastic card stop be packing my car full of petrol cans right this minute, driving to the centre of town and blowing myself up?

They interviewed a member of the public who decked one of the terrorists who was on fire on bbc news 24.

The guy being interviewed hit the terrorist to the floor when he got out of the car. The guy got back up and raced to boot of car then police floored him.

Brave guy hey. He sounded suprisingly calm whilst he was being inteviewed by phone. Well done that man.

I can see how ID cards would have stopped this from happening. Assuming that the ID cards are in fact made from reinforced steel, 10ft tall and placed to create a giant fence on the borders of Britain so that all the little Mussies will have to camp on the beach once they've swam in from the sea - instead of wandering in to claim benefits or steal our jobs and the other things they do.

Are all foreign visitors to the UK going to have British ID cards then?
