Glastonbury...

and now the bbc gushing over it. now if only they would send 1000 staff to download or knebworth to cover them.

Indeed, two of the biggest festivals and they are never covered.

I saw the first half of their set earlier, and whilst I enjoyed it, I couldn't help but notice the lack of crowd energy compared to metal gigs and festivals I've seen them at in the past. The horde of people at the back of the stage didn't help things either. The sound balence was also dire, metallica normally have an excellent sound crew so I don't know what happened there.

Regardless, I was very glad to see a metal act headlining, and agree with Mr Hetfield when he says it should open the way for our great British metal acts to finally play there. Sylosis 2015? :p

I think you mean #WhyNotDyingFetus :p

(yeah I know they're American but I do love that when it trends on twitter! :D)

Saw them in Leicester last weekend, amazing mate, you are in for a treat
I have heard nothing but good things about them mate!

I have been reading online and plenty of people are moaning about the line up this year but I am more than happy with it and Kasabian makes it for me!

I'm currently packed up and waiting for my friends to finish. It's been an amazing weekend, was front row for Arcade Fire, Robert Plant, Jack White, and Metallica. All of them were amazing, saw Kasabian further back and they didn't disappoint me either. This was my first Glastonbury and despite the mud it's been one of the best weekends I've ever had!

Whats the deal with Arcade Fire, visually amazing but my god they sound awful, does the girl always sound like a strangled cat?

Metallica, great band, seen them more times than ive had hot dinners. They went over way better than i thought they would but damn Kirk, learn to play those solos right...please!!! :D

Robert Plant And The Sensational Space Shifters set blew me away, I really really really hope they tour!

Just got back, what a weekend.

Kasabian, Rodrigo y Gabriella & Imagine Dragons were definitely my highlights. went to see The Kooks as well on John Peel for a surprise set, they were awesome. so many good bands, had a better weekend than I thought it was going to be!

Yup, there's even a song where she sings the opening line 'They heard me singing and they told me to stop' which in its context means something different but I always crack up whenever I hear it.
