God I hate the BBC's web site. No regard for VI people at all. Can't they just program HTML to scale text with linespacing, or at least use tables like 99% of other webmasters do? That GO button doesn't respond, even if I use tab to cycle through hyperlinks. It'll prolly say that I'm fatter than 99% and I'm most like someone from the USA. Firefox 13.0.1 btw.

I used to work with the visually impaired for a blind charity. I can really sympathise with you; I hate poor accessibility!

Apparently 91% of UK males in my age group (30-44) are fat gits compared to me. Doesn't say a lot for 'em.

I am now below the average (27), most like someone from Egypt........but at my highest weight two years ago I was the fattest person the world according to that Calculator and most like someone from Micronesia, whose name is rather ironic tbh.......

However BMI is a totally flawed system. Waist to Height comparison is better.

Well according to BMI I'm obese (33)

According to waist to height I'm 0.02 off of being OK. No doubt I need to improve my diet and exercise more but I think BMI is a bit off with me.

I'm just like my dad, he has skinny legs, strong arms but a big belly. Except my leg muscles are actually pretty strong. The majority of my weight is in my belly.

I'm 5'10/11" 16 stone 4 and a 36 waist.

BMI is a load of bollards. For a start it doesn't take into account muscle mass. My mate is 17 stone but doesn't have an ounce of fat on him (body builder) and yet according to BMI he is morbidly obese.

worthless in itself, but in the right context and in conjunction with WHR and bf% it adds to the picture.
