I thought they showed too much tbh. If the trailer finished after we saw his body through the smoke rather than panning up to see his head it would've been perfect.

Really liked the tone of the trailer - far more menacing than the 1998 crapfest.

I think this is a fresh take. Also, I do believe there are other monsters in there too judging by the 'leaked' teaser a little while back.

The original with a bloke running round in a rubber Godzilla suit, was far more menacing than the 98 effort.

There was most definitely the body of another monster in the "leaked" trailer, had 6 legs if I remember, kinda like a big cockroach type thing.

agreed, only want to hint at the awesomeness. trailers these days spoil too much

The roar sounds similar to the original Japanese Godzilla.

Looking forward to this so much. Was a huge fan of the franchise, I've even got some old VHS copies lying around somewhere. Hopefully they'll stay faithful to the originals as much as possible and not go the way of the 1998 film...which actually wasn't a terrible movie; it just shouldn't have been called Godzilla.
