Yes what's really important is that show how much we care. Maybe change our social media profiles to really show our solidarity and maybe criticise the ghastly police for kicking the stabby man - (still holding onto a knife) in the head?

Surely that will make things better, right?

It's just another London stabbing. I don't think it was anti Semitic atall.

I can see that it was clearly a disrespect issue that he called his mum a **** and his brother a batti boi, or, it could have been cos dem some nice trainers innit can I see dem?

Sadly people conflate zionism with jews who could be (and often are) apathetic towards it or even disregard it completely. So for some people it's a political thing and they see what's happening elsewhere and feel justified in retribution.

I don't want to get political in this. But ultimately in this case it's pure vile people doing vile things to innocent people just because of their background.

That said there does seem to be a massive focus on things if the person happens to be jewish or muslim at the moment. I doubt someone that was white or christian would get the same outrage.

He was a Shomrim officer. A volunteer security group. All 3 of them did great to deal with this.

I don't understand why people are being so wilfully ignorant. I'm not supporting attacks on Jews - I don't support attacking anyone at all.

I heard on the radio this morning, of course, that Antisemitism is on the rise...of course it is. We have a Jewish nation state waging war on a whole religious group. How do you think they're going to react?

It doesn't help that Israel itself constantly conflates Israel and Judaism!

The UK is not doing enough to combat Antisemitism, but by the same token it's not doing enough to combat Islamophobia, and is in many cases encouraging it - particularly in the ongoing support of Israel's war on Islam.

I am smart enough not to directly conflate Israel and the Jewish faith, but Israel very clearly defines itself as Jewish and appears to act as a source of Jewish violence against Islam.

None of this is difficult to comprehend. Not of it is good. But if we bury our heads in the sand and act like we don't know why it's happening, we're not going to solve anything.

Israel are locked in battles with Hamas and Iran, two stated groups of people that actively advertise their stated aims are to eradicate Israel/Jewish state. It is those two groups that use religion as their stated motivation for this.. Have you not read the Hamas covenant? (https://irp.fas.org/world/para/docs/880818a.htm)

Israel is not in a war with Islam or even waging a religious war at all..

Hamas is quite clear on where it stands:
