Goldfish floating problem..

I want a goldfish now :(

I remember having tropical fish as a kid, until I got bored of them and syphoned them out my window.

or just use tap water and a treatment that makes it ok for the fish to live in. It costs about 2 quid a bottle and you only need a small percentage, so it lasts longer and should be cheaper in the longrun than cheap water :)

Oh dear I'm having to quote myself now as no-one is paying attention and we're just going around in circles :D

The tap water and treatment is a far preferred way than buying cheap bottled water which is barely better than untreated tap water anyway (for fish). 2 litres at 18p and a weekly/twice weekly water change would soon outweigh the £2 i pay for the treatment.

That's my point.

Agreed, the minerals in bottled water aren't necessarilly good for the fish anyway. Got a bottle of Volvic here and it says it has 13.5mg of chlorine per litre, which is EXACTLY the sort of chemical the treatments remove from tap water!
A big bottle will last you over a year for £2 too.
EDIT: Excaliborg basically covered it, didn't read his post:p

If anyone WANTS any goldfish (for free), I've got a whole pond load I need to get rid of.

Gold ones, brown ones, big ones, little ones. Have got about 40 of the pesky blighters and I want to remove the pond and put some lawn down.

FREE FISH

I demand a picture of your pond with the fish in, otherwise your lying :p

I remember how I killed my goldfish once, I put it inside a lemonade bottle. :(

I was only 6, but I was a nasty child. :o
