Just got back from quick 9, decided to just take 4 clubs so of course had a decent round, makes perfect sense
Had 5w, 7 iron, 52-degree and putter which was good enough, I thought the 7 iron might be a little short but was hitting it well enough (and probably being a bit warmer/less wind) that it was fine. Shot +7 over 9 which I'll take any day around that course, last time I played there was the medal comp and I shot 48 and 55...
I have mental issues clearly

Take away the pressure and give me nothing to think about with club choice and I can still actually play it seems!
Maybe even try a 3 if you can, and/or 5 wood, I personally prefer the look of a fairway wood but a 3 hybrid/5 wood will go similar-ish distances and both are a nice long club to have in the bag imo
