I was similar at one point - almost 10° out to in swing path with driver and would hit either big pulls if I squared the face up or a pull fade/slice when I held on and didn't release the club through the ball
I have done a lot of work on it, but still had a path 2-3° out to in but my face control was all over the place and I have had a 2-way miss
For me, it was getting too narrow at the top of my swing, so my coach has got me working on more width in the back swing
During the lesson we saw my path move to a couple degrees in to out and a lot better face control saw me hitting little draws
Been to the range twice this week and saw some promising signs during the second visit, but it is going to take time to bed in as it feels unnatural still to be trying to push my right arm so far away from the body
