Well done. My friend Lauren drove for hours to compete at that event in the women's 63's (with a completely jaffed hip). Pulled 157.5kg in training after a year of training, think she's got a bright future as long as she looks after herself and trains smartly - pity she doesn't live closer to you or I'd bug you to coach her.

The drive was a pain, 4 hours, but worth it as the 63s was the class of the day! Obscenely close, right to the very end. What'd she end up with?

Not sure what she got on the squat, I know she's got 110kg in training, probably less on the day as her hip was ****ed and she basically lifted through the pain to get a total. Learnt a lesson about not sorting injuries out!

Bench 50kg (she needs a lot of work on building her arch and to work around her long arms) and with little/no leg drive. I think she'd be good for 60kg with corrections.

Deadlift... 155kg(!). She's a pulling machine. Conventional as well. If she was 100% she'd have got 160kg. I think someone else pulled 170kg?

Only been strength training for a year and it was her 2nd comp (her first was a couple of months ago) so while she didn't get a tree-fiddy total that was required for worlds she'll probably get there in the next year.

EDIT - Lauren, blonde, SBD singlet, all legs, no torso lol

Official off season starts today :D 4 weeks is looking like the plan, then another 11 week block for worlds.

I know out of the gate I cannot compete for medals etc. I'm simply going there to get the experience and to put up the best total I can.

800 or death.
