Another vote for Google Earth VR. Was a bit dismissive of it at first due to the poor models and textures in most places, but after playing with it some more I'm increasingly blown away by it. Can easily spend an hour or two on it at a time.
I know the maligned term "killer app" has been bandied around for this title, but it really IS that good!
The Golf Club VR is the first thing I've seen that really makes me want a Vive headset.

Yep. It's long enough to get me into the centre of my playspace but if I go too far back I start to feel the tension. An extra metre and all would be good. I'm thinking about buying a Vive link box as (anecdotally) it works with the Rift and should reduce that tension. I wish that Oculus would come up with something official though. One thing with the Oculus Rift, anyone else find the cable a bit short? Bit OT.
I hope they include some kind of extension with touch controllers as it's barely long enough reach me sitting at my desk, if I have to stand it's just not going to work.

Yep, I knew about the lack of power brick. I found a handy post on Reddit that details the adapter size and polarity. One thing I didn't find is what length the link box cables are? I seem to recall someone once saying they're 1m but the memory is vague.Link box only works if it has power. Be aware the replacement link box you can buy doesn't come with the power brick.
