Goodbye City-Link, hello DHL

Well ive been waiting for my new shiny dell tft all day, no sign yet :rolleyes:

City link used to show up 10am every morning with stuff from ocuk :(
 
Unfortunately there are always going to be winners and losers with changing couriers.

I was lucky in that my local depot for City Link was the other side of town, but always on time with the delivery and just used to phone through and collect later that night.

DHL are up in Oxford so a 25 minute drive each way instead of 3. I refuse to have time off for delivery and delivery to work is not an option.

Will be ordering some memory from OcUK for a test ESX server so will see how goes with the delivery. However from past experience with DHL not expecting it to go well.
 
I've always found it to be a case of "City-link by name, ****ty-link by nature".

Had many problems with them before :(
 
I ordered a headset yesterday

For the first time I have not had next day delivery. OCUK despatched it yesterday so the faults with DHL. Not a big problem but for the first time not next day.:p
 
The DHL ****** nicked my memory from my order. Now just waiting for the kind ocuk people to sort the claim and send me some more. First big order from OCUK so didnt experience CL.
 
Just as an update... 2nd package arrived yesterday, covered in stickers saying "unable to locate address" how 1of2 arrived fine but 2of2 couldn't find the address i'll never know :S
