Goodbye S6, Hello...

Fine, I'll bite :p
Heated leather, cruise, electric memory seats, bluetooth..?

This 'poor spec' 520d has more spec than any car you (or me if you discount the 335i I had for only 3 months) have owned, so if you are a sucker for spec you don't show it :p

I guess my point really is that its important not to get too hung up on 'spec' being just optional extras. You need to consider whats standard as well and there is an awful lot of standard fit equipment on that car.

A completely base spec 520d ordered today for example, one with 'no spec', will have heated seats, navigation, Xenons...

I am amazed with the standard spec of the "base" model F10/11. It is up there with genuine luxury class vehicles in terms of this.

With what money? Be realistic. I try and get as much spec as I can for the money. But seeing as I've only ever bought 3 cars it's hard to show I guess?

This. I had no idea 'boggo' F10s came with so much as standard in the UK. I guess BMW have to in order to be competitive. None of that stuff is standard in most EU markets!

Even the worst, very cheapest 520d's (i use the word worst relatively, they are excellent) have every bit of kit i would want really.

Full leather (extended to the centre console too), electric everything, navigation, bluetooth streaming, auto everything, its an amazing base spec.
