For those with 64gb versions, what is your free space on a fresh install? I'm thinking of sending this back and getting the 64GB as was my original plan? But this for £410 is making me think twice?

Also I agree with the above, this phone feels really solid and sturdy, not toy like at all, its got a nice heft to it as well :)

It was because it was so sturdy that it felt like a toy to me. It felt like a huge fake mobile that you would give to a child to absolutely pound.

I wish Google offered the option to turn off encryption without rooting. The store N6 was a little slow and laggy in places and it would be nice to see its full potential without having to do so much. Android has go to a position where you dont need to root anymore to make it polished.

I derped. 54.65gb in total.

I definitely recommend the lean kernel to everyone. Its
instantly better and the rgb colour tweaks are simple via the terminal emulator.

For those not sure on the white balance, all the rgb colours can be individually tweaked with ease.

Just found out the nexus 6 uses the MDM9625 LTE modem, which is only cat 4. Cat 6 is needed to reach 300mbit, while we will only manage 150mbit.

In reality it won't really make a difference, even getting 150mbit on a phone would be pretty awesome and the networks don't really support it yet. But at the same time it would be nice if they had actually used the latest hardware available. Other recent phones are coming with cat 6 support.
 
I don't quite see how that is at all an issue lol.

Settling into my phone quite nicely now. Much better having the LED notifications on. Double tap to wake is awesome, although I'm finding it often takes a few taps to work, hopefully that can be fixed.

Battery life is awesome. I'm getting 3-4 hours screen on time. I use Google play music at least a hour or two a day, plus various games. Lots of Facebook, Web browsing, WhatsApp use too. Plus I leave Bluetooth, wifi and gps on all the time. The battery gets me through the day no issues. It's lasting about as long as my S4 did on a 5200mah extended battery.

Removing encryption has made a massive difference. It pretty much feels like going from a HDD to an SSD basically. Everything is now much snappier, and how it should be out the box really!

Overall I really cannot complain so far, very pleased with my purchase. Another plus is the build quality, it does feel like a premium phone. My S4 in comparison looks cheap and feels cheap. The Nexus 6 feels very nice in the hand.
 
What brightness levels are you running with ?

I have Adaptive Brightness turned on, and the brightness level set to 1/3 of the maximum. Would like to set slightly higher as the screen looks dull, but worry about battery life.

If i recall correct I had about 4 hours SOT with 30% battery left but I had rebooted a few times etc. I need to do a proper SOT test at some point.

Since that original test I'm now running lean kernel and undervolted by -25mv so will need to see what happens. (In deep sleep its using between 0.3-0.5% an hour)

It's not far too big, it feels just right. :)

I generally have my screen on about 20% brightness, it's plenty bright enough this time of year.
