Sounds like you had a faulty one or user error.

Camera is grand. And these other bugs you say ?

User error in pressing the camera button

and it's not just mine which is slow, but every nexus 6 ever made :p - I'm please you like it, but I have had vast experience with camera phones, and the nexus 6 doesn't live up to my expectations. Granted, the Nexus line used to offer good value for money, but the Nexus 6 is selling for a premium price so it has moved up into the premium category. Therefore, the camera imho is sub par ;)

p.s. I'm using the Note 4 now lol

i had both phone, infact i have i have had most of the high end phones over the last 24 months.

the camera on the n6 is fine, granted it is not quite as good as the Note4 - i will give you that, however with a steady hand it takes a top pic... it is just not as forgiving as others

having touchwizz and half the phone full of bloat/junk ware is enough for me to make sure my hand is steady when i take a picture

Yeah I absolutely agree

When you do get that shot, it's fantastic. The hardware is there, it's just the software which needs sorting out, as I believe after speaking with some devs who understand the apis, it's this what's letting it down.

I actually though it was the hardware which was responsible for stuff like focus and shutter speed, but turns out it's the software doing it. How true that is I don't know :D

Am happy owner of Whit 64GB Nexus 6 now :D:D:D:D

feels lighter than note2, and doesn't feel think or big thanks to its shape on the back :)

now need to tinker with settings now and apps :)

OK questions about 5.1 ... Notifications... Where can I adjust how loud those can be ?
In google keyboard, how to add extra language ?
Thanks

Finally took the plunge and ordered a 64GB Blue on o2, wish I'd ordered one before Christmas but was waiting for HTC and Samsung.

The HTC doesn't look great and the Samsung has LOL-prices. Looking forward to stock Android.

I wanted blue but there was none via mobiles.co.UK
But white is awsome :)
Have spiegen case for it but prefer it without

Strange that's who I ordered from and is in stock now? Might have just been out at the time, either way I'd be happy. :)

I've never bothered with a case, I just get a pull tab leather pouch for my phones to protect them when in my pocket or bag. When it's on my desk in work it's caseless all the way, hate cases.

I have that leather pouch with my nexus 5. I don't like cases so it works well for me. If I went for a new phone I would be straight on their site to by another.

Just got one of these from Amazon.fr , lovely screen, premium feel and so much better without case on. One handed operation is eminently doable , in fact not any more difficult than my old Nexus 5.

My phone is rooted, got a custom recovery. 5.1 is downloaded and when i install it, i get to the point of my customer recovery. what can I do to install this and keep all of my data intact?
