Similar to Jimlad, OTA 5.1 update hit my Nexus about a few hours ago. I did restart it (first time in 2 weeks) so that may have had something to do with it. Although I've not had a huge chance to play with it everything does seem to be smoother. Particularly when using the Google Now (left swipe) from the main screen.

Looking forward to seeing the difference when I start using it more heavily.

Andy, whats made you go from the Note 4 to the Nexus 6?

The fluidity of the Nexus 6, just soooo smooth. Also, love the size of the Nexus, almost makes the Note 4 feel a bit small :) Final thing, the speakers. I like to listen to my podcasts, as if the phone was a radio. You can't beat the Nexus 6's speakers.

If anyone gets stuck on "waiting to download" when they get there 5.1 just turn off WiFi and let it start on mobile data then switch WiFi back on.

Happened to me and this sorted it.

Think they tweaked the feedback on the keyboard. Feels sligjty different.

guys, hows the camera on this ??
not asking for perfect lighning condition..just normal snaps at home of your pets, selfies, street photos etc

Compared to the iPhone 6+ that I had before the camera isn't great, the low light quality is practically non-existant.

Camera is.......how can I put this......terrible

I've just sold my Nexus 6 due to bugs and camera. Whilst in perfect conditions you can take a decent static image, the same simply can't be said for anything moving. If you try taking a photo of a group of people, be prepared to take at least 10 shots till you get one which isn't blurred. Hardware is there, let down by terrible software.

If you have the chance of comparing the N6 to the Note 4, prepared to be utterly amazed at the differences. Samsung have it spot on, there shutter speeds are almost iphone like!

Sounds like you had a faulty one or user error.

Camera is grand. And these other bugs you say ?

So.....64gb white N6 should be with me tomorrow ;)

Been looking in cases... Any recommendations? Bumper case ?
It's a big phone so don't want to add extra weight and bulk to it.

Might end up without case like with other phones but for starters will give it a go.

Need a car holder as well.
